Step 1: Understanding your needs

The first stage in any of our garden design projects is an in-depth question and answers session. As part of our initial meeting, we will work together to establish exactly what you require from your garden and ascertain your expectations.

This includes understanding the layout of your outdoor space, the sun and shade patterns as well as offering impartial advice on your budget- should you have one.

‍

Our initial meeting sets the expectations for the rest of the project, with the conversations at this stage enabling us to work to their best of our abilities in designing your garden.

‍

We focus on encouraging open communication, flexibility and creativity to not only listen to and understand your current ideas and feelings, but also offer our own expertise to combine in harmony.

Step 2: Designing and planning

After our initial meeting, our expert garden designer will create your 3 concept designs. These will be based upon your own ideas, as well as adding new elements and flair to the space.

‍

Each garden design we create is completely bespoke and customised to your space. Drawing upon our years of industry knowledge and experience, our designers will create a comprehensive garden design plan. With every project we work on, we are committed to combining both functionality and beauty seamlessly.

At this stage, we encourage feedback and criticism towards your designs. Our designers are keen to hear your thoughts and feelings, in order for us to bring your dreams to reality.

Once we have established all of your feedback, we will then move onto the design finalisation stage and presentation.

‍

If you are choosing our Comprehensive 3D Design package, we will also take photos of your garden space. These will be used in creating your 3D presentation.

Step 3: Finalise designs and presentation

On our 3rd meeting, you will receive your final garden design. Your final deliverables will vary, dependent on your chosen design package

This includes your Master 2D design PDF. You will also receive laminated versions of your design, for both yourself and site use for your future installer.

‍

Additional extras include a full quantity report to complete the project, an impartial installer guide to help you choose the correct installer as well an advisory report highlighting key areas that may require attention.

Our comprehensive 3D design package, also includes a complete CGI images showing your outdoor space in various angles and lighting. These 3D images are for you to keep in the design package, and use them as key references with your installer.

Step 4: Install and Aftercare

Alongside offering our garden design services, at Leicester Building Services we also have a dedicated landscaping team to bring your design to life.
